This 2200-2RS self-aligning bearing is a high quality 10x30x14 ball bearing manufactured to a high standard with rubber seal markings (2RS) on both sides. What differentiates this 2200-2RS bearing from others is the ABEC 3 accuracy standard to which it is manufactured, the 10 balls used, and the excellent quality level of the motor (EMQ). ABEC 3 represents the micron deviation of the bearing itself from the nominal 20,000 mm or -8 microns. The standard ABEC 1 accuracy standard that nearly all ball bearings follow has a -10 micron deviation. Simply put, the more precise a bearing is, the better it will perform in a given application. Class 10 balls in this bearing are typically only found in ABEC 5 or higher bearings because of their truer roundness and accuracy. The balls in the bearing share the load capacity, so this also extends the life compared to the standard 25 balls used by other brands. The quality class of the electric motor means that the bearings must operate at extremely low noise levels with little to no vibration. To achieve this, the raceways of the 2200-2RS bearings are precision ground with an excellent surface finish.
