GFK models are sliding clutches built into 59 series ball bearings.

This design provides high torque capability for the smallest outside diameter.

It is a bearing supported type and is grease lubricated at the factory.

Oil bath lubrication is also possible if the clutch is first cleaned with a suitable solvent to remove the old grease.

Regardless of the type of lubrication, seals must be provided as shown in the diagram below.

Torque transmission must be ensured by press-fit components on a rigid housing with tolerance R6 and a shaft with tolerance p5.

The full press fit on the GFK must not exceed the internal clearance of the models listed in the Internal Clearance column.
