UCFC2 (cast iron) series flanged housing units consist of a FC2 cast iron housing (4 holes) with a mounted UC2 bearing insert. The 4-hole flange bearing design allows mounting in a variety of applications and is suitable for very high radial loads. The housing is made of cast iron, so it is economical and sturdy. The bearing insert has an extended inner ring with grub screws for mounting the inner ring on the shaft. Static misalignment can be compensated up to 2°.
